Towards Resolving Challenges Associated with Climate Change Modelling in Africa

Climate change is a significant concern impacting food security, agricultural reform, disease transmission, and disruption to human, plant, animal ecosystems, along with host of additional consequences, ultimately affecting the quality life livelihoods global population. African-based research aims better understand impact climate on nature different aspects humanity, as well improve forecasting for greater economic potential. However, researchers often encounter various challenges obstacles. Here, we conducted bibliographic analysis interpretation relevant peer-reviewed articles related African continent. From this analysis, associated modelling in Africa were identified. Primarily, lack an extensive observational network technological limitations hinder efforts. Additionally, apparent pull scientists away from institutions further afield was observed. Novel solutions these are proffered. Finally, highlight how German Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) Research Alumni Postdocs (climapAfrica) program contributing towards resolving challenges.
